This privacy and cookie policy describes the rules for handling personal data and the use of cookies and other technologies on the website https://kapitula.org/. The administrator of the website is Jacek Staszak, running a business under the name of Przemysław Kapituła, Instytut Syurzyński and Nowowiejski, ul. Esperanto 14/6, 01-049 Warsaw, NIP: 527-145-02-26. Contact with the administrator is possible at the e-mail address kapitula@kapitula.org.

§ 1 DEFINITIONS 

For the purposes of this privacy policy, the following meanings of the following terms are used

1. Administrator – Przemysław Kapituła, running a business under the name of Instytut Syurzyńskiego i Nowowiejski, ul. Esperanto, 14/6, 01-049 Warsaw, NIP: 527-145-02-26.
2. Website – website available at https://kapitula.org/
3. User – any entity that uses the Website or services offered by Instytut Syurzyński i Nowowiejski.

§ 2 PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

1. The User may provide his personal data to the Administrator using the forms available on the Website, such as the newsletter subscription form, or in person by phone, via social media or by e-mail.
2. The administrator of the User’s personal data is the Administrator.
3. The data provided to the Administrator are processed in order to send the User a newsletter and contact in connection with the planning of cooperation.
4. The administrator guarantees the confidentiality of all personal data provided to him.
5. Providing data is always voluntary, but necessary for the User to take the action for which the form is intended or to perform the services offered.
6. The administrator does not share the data provided to him with any third parties.
7. Personal data is collected with due diligence and properly protected against access by unauthorized persons.
8. The User has the following rights:
– the right to request access to your data, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing;
-the right to data portability;
-the right to object to processing;
– the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data for a specific purpose;
– the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body in connection with the processing of personal data by the Administrator.
9. Personal data will be processed as long as the Syurzyński and Nowowiejski Institute exists.

§ 3 COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

1. The Administrator uses cookies, i.e. small text information stored on the User’s end device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone). Cookies can be read by the Administrator’s ICT system.
2. The Administrator hereby informs the User that it is possible to configure the web browser in such a way that it prevents the storage of cookies on the User’s end device. In such a situation, the use of the Website by the User may be difficult.
3. The Administrator stores cookies on the User’s end device, and then gains access to the information contained therein for statistical purposes, for marketing purposes (remarketing) and to ensure the proper operation of the Website.
4. The Administrator hereby indicates that cookies may be deleted by the User after they have been saved by the Administrator, through the appropriate functions of the web browser, programs used for this purpose or the use of appropriate tools available as part of the operating system used by the User.
5. The Administrator hereby informs the User that he uses the following technologies to track the actions taken by the User within the Website and to collect cookies:
– Google Analytics tracking code – to analyze Website statistics; The use of Google Analytics services involves the implementation of the tracking code provided by Google in the Website code. This code is based on cookies, but may also use other tracking technologies; the information collected in this regard is completely anonymous and does not allow the user to be identified.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this situation is the User’s consent resulting from initiating contact with the Administrator. Personal data provided to the Administrator via e-mail are processed only for contact purposes. The content of correspondence may be archived. Correspondence is stored on the mailbox server.
-affiliation – advertisements of third parties may appear on the Website in the form of affiliate links, affiliate banners. In order for the affiliate program to work properly, cookies from the following companies may appear on the Website: Trade Tracker, Convertiser, Blog Guardian, Ceneo, MailerLite, Trade Doubler, Theme Forest, Webe Partners, Sales Media. 

§ 4 SERVER LOGS

1. Using the Website involves sending queries to the server where the Website is stored.
2. Each query addressed to the server is saved in the server logs. Logs include e.g. User’s IP address, server date and time, information about the web browser and operating system used by the User.
3. The data stored in the server logs are not associated with specific persons using the Website and are not used by the Administrator to identify the User.
4. Logs are saved and stored on the server.
5. Server logs are only auxiliary material used to administer the Website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone except persons authorized to administer the server.
